Specifications required when buying a generator?
Hello, I'm going to buy a permanent magnet generator http://www.ginlong.com/wind-turbine-pmg-pma-permanent-magnet-generator-alternator-customise.htm But the alternator that I'm going to buy will continue my customization. My personalization will 100watt to 200rpm, smaller range (for low wind speed) However, I'm not sure what the specification should be mentioned in the quotation. And the size and weight is not on my account. Is this information should be included? Nominal (rpm) Current power at rated speed and what else? Get any generator and change the speed limit through a pulley or torque limiter. Then get a regulator to regulate the voltage. No matter so the power is as long as you do not overload it. You may have the capability of 200W and 100W single use.
