Why politicians do not tell high school kids to go to trade schools en masse, so that we can actually build?
the new "green economy" … It looks more bachelor degrees in Sociology are going to build wind turbines and solar panels we need.
Great question. I would say that middle-class ideas about education in America are horribly outdated. Every parent wants their children in a beautiful white office work (medical, lawyer, etc.) and just are not enough of these to everyone. Business schools still have a stigma of being "working class", unfortunately. I would suggest my son to go to a vocational school in an expensive liberal arts college (if I had children).
