Is wind power / hydro power really a good idea?

I've been researching this idea for a while now, and I would like other opinions. On the basis of physical laws, energy can not simply be done. It has to come from somewhere. By harnessing the wind and waves, we are taking the energy from the oceans and air. To be clear, slow wind turbines wind and hydropower waves decreases. If that happens on a large scale, I think would have a different problem on our hands than global warming. The fact that the wind can spread no pollen, or push the clouds where they need go. And the usual wave propagation neccessities plankton and other microscopic, and could alter ocean currents on the planet key. Is this a valid argument? It seems that the fission or fusion may be our only hope for sustainable energy.

Not a bad idea on an individual basis, but not too reliable yet, and should not be funded by taxpayers. Geothermal energy is the best in my opinion, but not give all the electricity it provides an open, basically, to heat or cool your home. Where I am is very cold and I would like here. No worry about the effects of generation energy. Anything that happens as a result returns to normal within seconds. Windmills do not slow down the wind at all, only capture part energy, while flows by. To generate hydroelectric power requires a dam, and are always built on rivers. In the river the river San Lorenzo is a huge one. The company that built it also built "fish ladders" to marine life would not be affected in their swim upstream to spawn. Nuclear power remains a general cleaner and more reliable.
