how to you start a solar system for the home and can i spend less then 200 dallars?
i live here in the philippines where the power goes out a lot
Do you want to power your whole home from solar energy? If so, you need at least 25000 dollars.
If you want to power just some lights or some appliances e.g. computer for a small period of time, you need a solar panel, a charger, an inverter, a battery, etc. which will cost you between 700 to 1000 dollars.
It is much cheaper to get a gas powered generator and with 700 dollars I am pretty sure you can get a gas powered generator to power your whole home. The downside is that it needs maintenance, it is not “green” and it could be dangerous if it is not handled properly. Also you can not run it all the time otherwise it will not last much.
