Good or bad? "The reduction of feed-in tariffs in Germany directly affect solar energy businesses?
I understand that solar energy companies would be indirectly affected but not directly. I understand that solar energy companies such as First Solar, are indirectly affected as their customers see less revenue from the power tariffs. But the company is not directly affected, unless the effect of low power rates reduced demand for solar panels, which would cause lower prices and margins. I got this right? Or am I wrong?
Increases in Tariffs all imports of inputs directly affects the selling price. By reducing tariffs on imported goods usually reduce the selling price to the consumer.
