What are the prospects for solar energy as a commercial source of alternative energy today?
the solar industry today is is considering for the first time in a serious way as an alternative source of clean fuel for power generation compared to fossil fuels dirty as oil and coal to generate energy such as electricity. the industry says they are approaching cost parity, although susbsidies government, with fuels, especially oil has cost as much as $ 99 2 weeks (it has since fallen to $ 88 a barrel). a technological and commercial point of view How agree with these statements? populations of the major solar producing companies have shot up 10 times in a few cases in past 12 months. I'm asking the question from a financial benchmark, as while they are still attractive for investment, but from a technology perspective wondering if the technologies are commercially viable enough to compete with existing producers of green electricity utilities (electricity companies).
Solar energy is being used today in small-scale applications. Only, time will tell if the man can harness the energy of the sun through better technology for energy industry
