Small-scale solar cell applications?
I am considering a small cell solar product of a project that will produce a small amount of electricity to run some sort of electrical devices daily. That is only possible for small applicatoins (Less than 2 square inches) and does not produce enough energy to power something big (like a toaster). Is there any small scale applications for cells lots that I would be able to make a prototype? (Some examples of my mind include a cell phone charger, key chain, possibly headphones? "Things Related with the lives of adolescents / consumer) ideas are welcome, I need a little inspiration
2 inches square of solar panels do not produce much power. So the practical applications could be either devices that use very little energy (solar power calculators) or charge the batteries for later use (Lamps used to light the edges of roads at night, they are fairly cheap and widely available in case you want to save the solar cells and batteries one of them for your project.) You can purchase solar lanterns and a charged cell phone chargers, but I think they are all that practice if you do not have the power supply.
