Can anyone give me approximate costs for the conversion of an old school bus to an RV?
I want to convert an old school bus diesel an RV. I found many vehicles that fit the bill on eBay, and some other places. I imagine it will be paying $ 1,000-3,000 for the vehicle itself. I was wondering if anyone has done this before, or know someone who has, would be able to give me the approximate costs. I want to mount solar panels on the roof. I'll be doing most of the work itself, and people to help me, so I will not have to pay anyone to work. I put in a sink, toilet and shower (and all necessary equipment as the water tank and heating, etc.), construction on some bunk beds and put in a propane heater and stove, a refrigerator and so on. I found information different on different websites ranging anywhere from 10,000 to 40,000. While I want everything you need, the idea is to make it as economical as possible. If someone could give me narrower range would be much appreciated.
Who knows? There is too much to the figure. Things usually cost more than the time comes to do the job. Maybe you should consider another route.
