Solar Power Calculators – When to use the solar panel, and when the battery?
They are connected in parallel? Do you use the two? How is – that source of energy for use in a given time? Thank you! 
I suspect that there is a diode between the cell solar and battery, or battery is discharged through the solar cell when no light. The battery is always in use, and the solar cell is being currently on drums. In bright light there is a net positive current into the battery, charging it. In the dim light, the battery is discharged, as the current channels in electronics.
