How many people to solar energy and its use are off-grid or grid tied systems simply?
If you are outside the network, What kind of batteries do you have?
Our system is network-bound, and frankly, I do not know anyone who had decided to disconnect electrical network after obtaining sites. The only people that seem out of the network are those who have never had access to the network in the first place (remote cabins). As to batteries, not a good forum to ask the question: http://www.wind-sun.com/ForumVB/index.php. Lead acid AGM batteries are common.
