home sales of electricity to the grid?
How hard is one thing to generate their own energy and sell the surplus to the grid? Are there kits available outside of the platform 'which lets you do this? How are the companies likely to power of this idea? Are there companies green that specialize in this for example? Are there any recommended books on the subject? Who here has done this? Many of the questions I know ..

I've done it, harnessing the power of our local river that powers the mill through a turbine generator. Being sparks trade I have two meters from the factory. One starter, when the plant is in operation, and an exit, where the place is closed. The balance of the numbers is 50/50 to power lighting, elevator, kitchen, etc. So you might think that this is free energy. It will take about 12 years to recoup the cost of capital and breakeven. I have solar panels at home, but I have to live to be 120 to break even. It's a great idea to sell the juice to the network, but in reality, is a great investment for little return.
