How can I find a dilapidated old farm / farm to buy?
Finally time for the next chapter of life. Children adults. Tired of renting. SHTF in my area, so I want to find a piece of land for hunting, fishing and gardening. Ideally with some kind shelter for rehabilitation, barn, shed, shell cabin, cottage, etc. outside the passenger network could run survival.
Move to Maine. Seriously. There are tons and any local real estate office would be happy to show you. We bought an old house two years ago that needs some work but has plenty of land. We have a large garden, pigs, sheep, chickens. Deer are all over the place and we even have bears and moose. The house and land cost us 60,000 dollars. Before this buy wooded land and built a straw bale house outside the network. Total cost of land and building: $ 30,000.
