In storage bulk foods, this can be achieved fill your bucket / barrel as close up as possible and then have a good cover for an airtight seal. Oxygen Absorbers or dry ice can be placed inside the container to help ensure the absence of oxygen.

Temperature control is important to store food the correct temperature, and preferably in a cool dark place. At all costs, avoid freezing food, especially their products packed in glass jars.
