Looking for help or information about the generation of electricity for my house.?

I would be able to generate enough electricity to supply my house, and get off the grid. I already have a house made alternetor wind turbine powering a car, car batteries in an inverter for some things. I have 40 acres of land to work, and the wind blows every day, but not consistently. I would like some information that could continue with my place in major indepenance upfront cost for the set-up
