NTC Thermistor and AC compressors?
Hello. We are outside the network and therefore the installation of a diesel generator 3 phase. Each phase is rated at 20 amps continuous (23 Amps max). want to run Split type 3 ACS, one in each phase, plus some other small appliances. Our problem is that each CA has a startup current of 20 amps, which will trigger the safety circuit in the generator each CCAA is on.The operating current is only 8 amps, but jumps at 20 amps for a split second every time the compressor turns on. Is there any way to fix this problem with NTC Thermistor? Can anyone give me some idea of what an NTC thermistor type should I use? We run at 220-240 V, 50 Hz Thanks for your answers
Sounds to me that has to change the switch to a type of delay. These allow some excess current for a very short time, as from an engine.
