How to build a solar panel that can convert sunlight into energy, is only in the roof of the house?
Well, I'm looking for a way cheap to build a solar panel, instead of buying through the shops of manufacture. I would like to stay in the budget up to $ 1,000. Want to have solar power for my house because the sun always shines. Is there any way that the power light on some of my house? What do I need? How long does it take? Where can I get the items you need?
You have a couple of options. The first option is to build a collector to generate hot water. If you live in a cold climate, you might have to use vacuum tubes and this will probably blow your budget. The hot water could be used as a pre-heater for the current hot water systems. Complete systems for domestic hot water is probably not fit your budget. The second option is a small solar panel to generate electricity. In order to fit into thousands of dollars in budget, you need something like this: 1) a panel 80W. This will set you back about $ 400. You can not solar cells make yourself, so it's just as well to buy a full panel. 2) A small solar charge controller for about $ 100. This will have the power from the panel and make sure your storage battery charged. 3) An investor. This will have battery power and generates 120 volts alternating current (as your wall sockets). A 120W unit will be less than $ 200. 4) A 12 volt deep cycle battery, maybe $ 120. 5) A transfer switch power off when the battery is discharged and the energy transfer utility 120 volt. You should be able to put it all together for $ 1000. However, it is necessary to treat this as a hobby. The power generated is worth less than $ 10 a year, and is about enough to power a DSL modem and router (ie your Internet connection). If lasts 25 years, your investment (or loss in this case) will be approximately less than 9%. Of course, the battery does not last that long, but the other parties could. The real power can generate can be estimated from maps of solar radiation. I'll send a link to a few that can help. Heat collection is probably more valuable (eg, using a heat collector instead of a collector of PV for electricity). You can probably find plans on the Internet for do-it-yourself flat collectors platform using plumbing parts and electronic circuit diagrams for things like solar charge controllers, but I think this is too complicated for its first project unless you really like to play. Buy the components and their integration yourself (learn how to get all interconnected) loads of work for which the first draft. Do not be discouraged by the economy. You will learn many things in the process and knowledge is always a good thing. One day, as prices fall silicon cells (perhaps a new thin film technology) and evacuated tubes are made by hundreds of millions that you will be able to use their ability to make a much larger and cost effective system. Have fun.
